Why? Well, a few weeks ago one of their management wrote to us and told us that Ed Robertson, their guitarist and singer, was a real fan of Caffè Nero! In fact he was trying to fill his loyalty card and had posted on Instagram about how much time he spent in our stores and how much he was looking forward to drinking great coffee on their UK tour!
So we devoted part of our monthly curation session to listening to their music and realised it was perfect for Caffè Nero and decided to make them our Artist of the Month, so Ed could listen to his own music whilst touring the UK and enjoying our coffee!!
Barenaked Ladies are made up of:

The band (who are Canadian) have sold more than 15 million albums, earned Grammy nominations and won multiple Juno Awards, and in 2018, were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Their new album, In Flight, BNL’s eighteenth studio album has just been released to great acclaim and it retains the dry wit and keen observation expected from them.
Their music will be playing every afternoon in Caffè Nero throughout April at 15:30 for 15 minutes. So, if you don’t know their music, treat yourself to a Caffè Nero drink and hear their music. And if you would like to see them live, here are the band’s UK tour dates. Just so you have them handy.
