Recognition That Comes From You
Once a year, a small group of customers receive a token to give to a barista who has really made a difference to their day, week, or even year. Someone who goes the extra mile, or simply takes the time to chat when you’re having a bad day. It’s about those moments that go beyond just preparing your daily coffee.
Going Beyond the Everyday
Our baristas craft great coffee and offer a warm welcome each and every day. But sometimes, they go even further.
It might be taking a little extra time with a customer who needs it, offering a thoughtful gesture that lifts someone’s spirits, or showing real pride and care in making every cup just right. Often, it is the smallest things, a kind word, a genuine smile, or a moment of patience, that leave the biggest impression. These are the moments that truly make a difference, and they are the ones we want to shine a light on.
When You Recognise a Star, We Celebrate Them
When one of our baristas receives a Nero Star token, it’s a big deal to us and we make a real fuss of them. We take the time to celebrate properly, with their team around them. It’s a moment of pride not just for the individual, but for everyone they work alongside. A chance to pause, reflect, and recognise the care, effort, and heart they bring to their role every day.
