Caffè Nero Christmas with Rose Blake
Rose Blake is the illustrator and artist behind our 2017 festive cup design. Rose constantly challenges the notion that illustrations cannot maintain meaning without words – and she’s done just that with this year’s Caffè Nero festive cup design.
Rose Blake takes us through her design process, where she gets her inspiration from and her favourite part of this year's festive cup design.
"I get my inspiration from everywhere. I?m constantly on the look out for ideas - so I find everything pretty inspiring really. Conversations, things I see on the street, books I'm reading - I'm always jotting down ideas for drawings on my phone."
"The inspiration for the festive cup design was just the idea of having a really fun festive party, fueled by delicious cake and coffee."
"My favourite element is the barista putting the Caffè Nero cup on top of the tree... and the snowman peeping in."
