We have a vacancy for a Payroll Administrator to join our Head Office team in Covent Garden.
This is a fantastic opportunity, looking after the bi-weekly payroll for Caffe Nero and Harris+Hoole and ensuring all of our employees are paid accurately and on time.

About the role:
You will be responsible for the day to day, start to finish, processing of two fortnightly payrolls for @4000 UK hourly paid employees. Key accountabilities include:
- Ensuring our teams are paid correctly and on time
- Processing of two fortnightly payrolls for c4000 UK hourly paid employees, including pay, deductions, statutory payments, tax & NI coding, student loans, pensions, salary sacrifice, attachment of earnings order
- Supporting with the processing of Coffee#1 payroll as required
- Use of in-house systems for employee data and employee hours
- Pension submission and the use of Peoples Pension online pension portal
- Managing payroll cash transaction postings to SAP
- Managing the payroll inbox and HAL ticketing system
- Deal with email/phone/face to face queries in a prompt and approachable manner
- Maintaining great relationships with internal stakeholders
- Provide support to the payroll and broader finance team
About you:
You will have gained solid experience in an in-house payroll role, and be looking to take the next step in your career. Self-driven, with an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels, you will be able to demonstrate skills/experience in the following:
- Working with a semi-automated in-house built payroll application and eco-system
- Hands on experience of full end to end payroll processing
- Ability to deal with high volume queries across all levels in the company, demonstrating great customer care at all times
- Great organisational skills – prioritising your workload and working independently, whilst also being a brilliant team player
- IT literate – proficient user of Excel
- Good understanding of PAYE including manual calculations
- Knowledge of EYU and Basic tools
- Analytical with great attention to detail
- Knowledge of Albany BACS
- Brilliant commuication skills, written and verbal
- Sound knowledge of statutory payments and calculations
